We Believe
The Bible is God's word. It is inspired, infallible, accurate, authoritative and applicable to our every day lives. 2 Tim 3:15-17, 1 Thes 2:13, II Pet 1:21
In one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy. Deut 6:41, Ex 3:14, Is 48:16, Matt 28:19 Lk 3:22
Sin brings death and separates each of us from God and His purpose for our lives. Gen 2:17, 3:6-24
The Lord Jesus Christ, born of a virgin is both God and man. He is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to demonstrate His victory over death that we may have eternal life. Mat 1:23, John 5:22,23
In order to receive forgiveness and the 'new birth' we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and submit to His will for our lives. Acts 4:12, Rm 5:7-13, 10:9, James 1:21, Eph 2:8
In order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be empowered by the Holy Spirit and live By faith in accordance with His word. Titus 3:5
We need to be baptized with the Holy Spirit who empowers us with spiritual gifts, which includes speaking in tongues, but is not the only evidence. Acts 2:4, Lk 24:49, Acts 1:4-8, 8:12-17, 10:44-46, 1 Cor 1-31
Jesus has commissioned His Church to make disciples, proclaim the Gospel and extend the kingdom to the whole world. Eph 1:22,23,2:22, Heb 12:23, 1 Cor 12:13,28 14:12, Eph 4:11-16
God wants to heal, deliver and transform us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives in order to help others more effectively. Matt 8:16,17 Acts 5:16, James 5:14-16
